I photograph things because I want a better look at them.  This is a rock that I found and ran through the tumbler.  I like the colors, the textures and lines. 

This is a near microscopic shot. I used Helicon Focus to gain adequate depth-of-field.  I used a Mamaya 50 mm, f/1.7 lens reversed as a close-up lens on my Sigma 105 mm, f/2.8 macro lens.
